After a trade show in Reno, three of my co-workers and I took a couple days off and went skiing at Heavenly Valley in Lake Tahoe. After not skiing for nine years, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it all came back back to me. Skiing at high altitude was a challenge, though. During our first night in Lake Tahoe, a spring snow storm dumped 26″ of new snow on the area. So much for skiing the second day: they closed the mountain.
